These terms are between you and Mather Software Ltd, registered in England and Wales, the maker of StepLadder. By using StepLadder you agree to them.
Who can use StepLadder
You must be 13 or older. One account per person.
Playing fair
- Only count steps you actually walked. Shaking your phone, step machines and other tricks are not allowed.
- Pick a handle that isn’t offensive and doesn’t pretend to be someone else.
- Don’t harass other walkers.
We may remove steps that look impossible, change a handle, or close an account that breaks these rules. You can report or block any walker from their ladder row.
Your health
StepLadder is a game, not medical advice. Walk within your limits and talk to a doctor before big changes to how much you exercise.
The service
StepLadder is free. We work to keep it running but can’t promise it will always be available or that step counts are exact; they come from your phone and watch. We may change or end features, and will update these terms when we do.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
